Through the Mad Science Discovery Lab Program, children will discover the wonderful world of animals— above and below water! Your young mad scientist will feel the force of energy, the pull of gravity, and the might of motion in three exciting physics explorations. They will also take a creative look at the world of circuits, alternative energy sources, solutions & mixtures and experiment with robots and robotics. Each class is supplemented with a Mad Science Branded Take Home Project relevant to that day's activities.

All About Animals
Explore the Animal Kingdom while learning about the habitats, adaptations and life cycles of your favorite creatures. Children will take home their own Mad Science Animal Track Kit.
Energy Burst
Children are introduced to the law of Conservation of Energy & explore energy transfer and conversion. Pop, jump, & flip while learning about kinetic & potential energy. Take home a Mad Science Catapult & launch further learning to a greater distance.
Get Connected
Children chat over cables, set up a telephone network and work with radio signals. Wind through a cell tower relay to track cell phone users. Students get their own Mad Science Wired World, an optical fibre telecommunications model, to take home.
Life in the Sea
Learn about the diverse life forms in the ocean, discover underwater habitats, and how humans can help protect ocean life. Children take home a Mad Science Anaglyph Sea Puzzle to make a 3-D coral reef at home.
Mix It Up
Shake up solutions & explore the physical aspect of chemistry. Learn how to identify solutions, suspensions & physical mixtures & how to separate mixtures with mechanical & chemical techniques. Sort at mixtures at home with the Mad Science Super Sorter.
Moving Motion
Catapult into Sir Isaac Newton's three Laws of Motion. Yank cloths from underneath dishes, send crash test dummies flying and launch mini-rockets. A Mad Science Newton Spinner will reinforce action-reaction forces at home.
Radical Robots 1
Become wrapped up in the world of robotics while exploring robots, remote control devices and automatons. Learn how to control robots with sounds & make a soccer robot to score a goal! Take home the Mad Science Robot Hand - a human-like end effector.
Super Power Sources
Explore renewable and non-renewable resources of power generation. Use mechanical forces to turn on fans, and find out what makes a battery work. The Mad Science Crank'n Shine gives students a chance to generate light.
