School Program Policies & FAQ

Participation

It is the responsibility of each participant to remember to come to their Mad Science class each week.  They will not be picked up at their classrooms.  Some schools do opt to make an announcement at the beginning of class.

All Mad Science participants will be expected to interact safely and appropriately with the Mad Scientist, fellow participants and the equipment.  If a child is unable to do so, they will have to be removed from the program.

If your child’s program is held after school, please pick them up promptly. Children who are repeatedly picked up late may be removed from the program.

Payments and Refunds

Please pay for the program by cheque or money order.  (Cash will be accepted however no change will be provided.)

NSF payments will be subject to a $25 processing fee

Refund requests made prior to the start of the program are subject to a processing fee of $28.00

Refund requests after the first or second class will reflect the amount of classes attended and be subject to the admin fee.

Refunds will not be issued once the third class has taken place regardless of attendance.

Refunds will not be given for missed classes.

Cancellations

If your school is closed due to inclement weather, Mad Science will be cancelled and a make up class will be scheduled (maximum of one per eight week session) and you will be notified.  Mad Science will not be cancelled if the school is open.

If a class is missed due to circumstances beyond our control, the class will not be made up.  No refunds will be given for missed classes.
