What do worms eat? Why do some things float, while others sink? How do our senses work and what's inside our bodies? Young scientists will have fun exploring the lights, color, sound, and music of the natural world. Hands-on sessions will teach senses, bodies, animals, insects, and simple chemistry. Camp includes a daily take home activity as well as a lab coat and goggles.
Color Lab
ROY G. BIV is ready to meet young scientists in this workshop exploring colors.
Human Body
Discover your skeleton, heart, lungs and how they work for you.
Science of Music
Instruments are the focus of this loud workshop; kids learn how vibrations are generated.
Sea, Sand & Surf
Learn about the science behind things in the ocean in this hands-on look at the sea and surf. See how sand is created, observe shells up close, discover what creatures live in the ocean and make an ocean bottle to take home.
Get your hands dirty while learning all about worms! See with a magnifying glass what a worm looks like up close and where they live.
