Lights, Color and Adventures in Air
Children get fascinated with light. They discover that white light is made up of rainbow colors. They learn how shadows are made. How can something invisible have so much power? In this theme they learn that the earth is covered with a blanket of air called atmosphere and that it creates pressure all over us. The children make their own "“Loop de Loop"” flyers that soar through the air.

Animals of the Sea, and Butterflies
Campers take an imaginary trip to the beach and see how sand is made. They meet the creatures that live in the ocean. They examine different shells, a starfish, & a sponge and see how different sea creatures live. They then make a tiny ocean to carry home. Young scientists discover all about butterflies – where they come from, stages of their growth, how they eat and even make some of their own to take home during this workshop.
