Agent Undercover:
Calling all agents, calling all agents! Get into gear with Agent Undercover and learn what it takes to be successful in the spy world. Step into the shoes of a spy in action and use real spy tools as your team attempts to recover the missing Mad Science equipment. Students will make and take home the Undercover Observer, a spy accessory that allows them to make visual observations without arousing suspicion; a key skill for agents undercover!

Crime Lab:
Take a turn in the lab to analyze clues brought in by a secret agent. Look through the trash, perform lab analysis on beverages, and use your sense of smell to sniff out a suspect. Are detectives really scientists in disguise? Step into their shoes and uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis. Students will create, collect, and analyze evidence and discover what skills are necessary as a crime scene lab technician and take home an Inspecti-Kit to solve mysteries at home!

Discover Detection:
Trip wires, locks, and safes...Discover how we keep things secure. Students will learn how locks and keys work together, and explore how trip wires can trip up a would-be thief as they attempt to retrieve hidden treasures. Students continue their sleuthing at home using their Scene Solver take home to reconstruct the scene of a crime with family and friends.

Funky Forensics:
Scene Suspects, schematics, and sleuths... oh my! What does a criminal leave at a crime scene? Analyze a crime scene looking for clues. Connect the dots using science to help solve a crime in this hands-on investigation and learn why forensic scientists like to understand the complete picture before they make decisions. Students will use their Case Stamper take home to probe the science of tracking as they will stamp out a scenario on a case card according to a pre-determined story.

Jr Detectives:
Students will have the opportunity to check out the skills that spies have in this hands-on journey into the world of espionage. Learn the science behind alarm systems and fingerprints. Explore how lasers and uv light are used to reveal a break in. Junior Detectives will use their Fingerprint Finder to to place and identify UVprints.

Sleuths on the Scene:
Using powers of observations our young scientists will have all they need to get started on their detective adventure. From keeping up with suspects from a distance to sending and receiving messages that can be easily destroyed, students will learn how to observe clues from afar and send notes while in the field. With the build-your-own Spynoculars students can continue the adventure at home and test the limits of magnified observation.

Spy Academy:
Look out 007—the Mad Science Spy Academy is in session! Become a super spy while learning to pass messages to other agents using codes and cryptography. Solve the coded messages found in the secret dead drops and learn how to plant your own messages. Students will make and take home their own Secret Code Breaker to communicate stealthily at home, like real spies.

Whodunnit?
Someone has broken into the Mad Science lab! Discover Whodunnit? by analyzing notes found at the scene. Learn how scientists use handwriting analysis, ink chromatography, and puzzle solving skills to examine evidence. Using their Whodunit Kit take home, students will build a composite image of the suspect and can practice the skills of recall and observation.

Check out security systems, cool spy equipment, and discover proper procedures that are used in real crime scene labs! Explore forensic science through the eyes of both a detective and spy.
